to tell us what they were doing together...

Having decided to buy a quality horse for hunting and working hunters, we went to visit Chuck, just to have a look at what we could get for our money. After telling Chuck what we were looking for, he showed us 3 nice horses, all within our budget, the last of which we tried and loved! A week later Gavin brought the horse home and we haven’t looked back!

Carlingford Diamond has been an absolute star. We have taken him unaffiliated showjumping at 3’ and 3’3 where he has either won or been placed every time out. We are aiming him at affiliated working hunters for next season and he has already successfully competed in a good class at Heathfield Show, coming fifth and we have qualified for the balanced horse feeds championships at the end of September so he has done fantastically well already!

At the moment he is enjoying going on hound exercise every morning with the huntsman and will spend the winter hunting with both him and myself before kicking off the working hunter season in the spring. Carling is already a much loved member of the family, he is very easy to do in and out of the stable and is exactly what Chuck told us he would be. Thanks Chuck, we will definitely be recommending you to friends looking for quality hunters.
